OUR BACKGROUND
WHERE WE STARTED
The Chief brand began as a small, family-built insulation company named Chief Foam Insulation & Coatings, serving residential clients in Southwest Louisiana. The company was built by Dillon LaFleur, whose leadership remains deeply involved in daily operations, quality control, and client relationships.
This hands-on approach ensures that every project reflects the standards & values the company was founded on, not just professionally, but personally. Over time, this consistency has earned Chief a strong reputation for following through, communicating clearly, and delivering exactly what we promised. When clients work with Chief, they work directly with people who are personally invested in the successful outcome of every project.

HOW WE GREW
As experience and demand grew, so did our capabilities beyond insulation. We've expanded into commercial projects, adding paint & coating services, surface prep and NACE inspection, followed by work in more complex industrial environments where higher standards, more specialized skills, and proven reliability are required. ​
Over the last 5 years, we've learned every lesson the hard way - building systems, refining processes, and strengthening execution from the ground up. That experience continues to shape how we operate today, allowing us to deliver work that reflects our values and performs long after the work is complete. ​
